Coral Gables Fit Guide (2026): the best Pilates, reformer, HIIT and run spots

Coral Gables trains differently from Brickell. Fewer 6 a.m. crowds, more reformer rooms tucked above Miracle Mile and along Ponce de Leon, and a running culture built on shade: banyan-lined streets, the Old Cutler Trail, the University of Miami loop. If you live in the Gables, or you're choosing a studio near the office, this is the map. We list who each place is actually for, where to park, and what to bring. We don't list prices, because they change monthly; every studio below has current class packs on its own site.

How to use this guide

Pick the kind of practice you want first: classical apparatus, contemporary reformer, high-intensity reformer, strength and HIIT, yoga and mat, or running. Coral Gables has enough of each to compare within a ten-minute walk of Miracle Mile. Most studios ask you to arrive ten minutes early for a first visit and to bring grip socks; a few require them.

Classical and contemporary reformer

Club Pilates Coral Gables — 77 Miracle Mile. The most variety on the Mile: eight class types across four levels, including Reformer Flow, Center + Balance, Cardio Sculpt, Suspend, Control, F.I.T., Restore and a Teen class, plus a free intro session for first-timers. Best for: people who want a schedule that fits around work, and families.

Pilates One — 320 Miracle Mile, Suite 204. A Miami studio since 2008 with Coconut Grove roots and a loyal Spanish-speaking clientele; group reformer with instructors who teach the method rather than a workout. Best for: a steady, unflashy practice.

CADiLab Pilates — 210 Valencia Ave, Suite 300. A boutique studio that teaches exclusively on the Cadillac, in small classes with a lot of hands-on correction. Best for: technique, anyone coming back from an injury, and people who find reformer rooms too crowded.

High-intensity reformer

TREMBLE — 4203 Ponce de Leon Blvd, Suite 100. High-intensity, low-impact training on the reformer; the "Full Body Tremble" format is the signature. Grip socks are mandatory, so bring your own. Best for: the shake, and the athletic option among the Gables' classical studios.

[solidcore] — 111 Palermo Ave, Suite 208. Fifty minutes of high-intensity, low-impact strength on a custom-built reformer. Best for: people who want to be sore tomorrow.

Where to run and walk

  • Miracle Mile and Ponce. Wide sidewalks, early-morning quiet, and the trolley route if you need a shortcut back. Good for 5K loops before the shops open.
  • Coral Way canopy. The banyan tunnel between Le Jeune and the Gables' western edge is the shadiest run in Miami-Dade.
  • Old Cutler Trail toward Matheson Hammock. Start at Cocoplum Circle and head south; shade, water views and a marina to turn around at.
  • University of Miami loop. Flat, lit, and quiet on weekend mornings.
  • Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. A walk, not a run (paid entry), but the best recovery day in the city.

What to wear in a Gables reformer room

Rooms are air-conditioned and mirrored, and most classes are small enough that your instructor sees everything. Bring grip socks (mandatory at TREMBLE). For the reformer you want a high-rise that doesn't move on the carriage; a nude shade that reads as skin, not beige, is the reason Piel exists in seven shades, from Arena to Ébano, squat-proof at every one. The shade finder takes about a minute: the shade finder.
